Katie~ Coming in 2024

Unburied by Heather Critchlow (18/01/24)

The Second book from the author of Unsolved comes Unburied. Cal Lovett has spent half his life telling other people's stories on his true crime podcast, now it's his turn to solve the mystery behind his sisters disappearance.

Anna O by Matthew Blake (01/02/24)

This debut novel by Matthew Blake, follows Doctor Benedict Prince, a forensic psychologist whose patient Anna O has not opened her eyes in the four years since the night she was found in a deep sleep surrounded by the bodies of her best friends, suspected of a chilling double murder.

The Fury by Alex Michaelides (01/02/24)

The new book by the author who brought us The Silent Patient and The Maidens comes The Fury. On a small private Greek island, former movie star Lana Farrar - an old friend - invites a select group of us to stay. A chance to relax and reconnect - and maybe for a few hidden truths to come out. Because nothing on this island is quite what it seems. Not Lana. Not her guests. Certainly not the murderer - furiously plotting their crime.

Tomas Nevinson by Javier Marias (21/03/24)

Tomas Nevinson was a surprising favourite read of mine in 2023 when I was published in hardback, now I can't wait for others to enjoy it in paperback. Tomas Nevinson, a retired MI6 agent, is working for the British Embassy in Madrid when his former handler, the Bertram Tupra offers him a last assignment. His mission: to catch and, if necessary, kill a terrorist gone to ground in Northern Spain after bombings in Barcelona and Zaragoza.

Earth by John Boyne (02/05/24)

One unsurprising favourite from 2023 was John Boyne's Water and 2024 brings the next book in the series Earth. An inescapably gritty story about one young man whose direction in life takes a vastly different turn than what he expected. It’s the tabloid sensation of the year: two well-known footballers standing in the dock, charged with sexual assault, a series of vile text messages pointing towards their guilt. As the trial unfolds, Evan Keogh reflects on the events that have led him to this moment.

Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune (12/09/24)

This is my most anticipated fantasy book release coming in 2024. The first book The House in the Cerulean Sea was so delightful, warm, and funny. So Somewhere Beyond the Sea has a lot to live up to but i can hardly wait to read it. Arthur Parnassus lives a good life built on the ashes of a bad one. He’s the master of a strange orphanage on a distant and peculiar island, and he hopes to soon be the adoptive father to the six dangerous and magical children who live there.  This is a story of resistance, lovingly told, about the daunting experience of fighting for the life you want to live and doing the work to keep it.
