Join us for an evening with local author Prof Geraint John celebrating his new book, co-author with Dave Parker, ‘Olympic Stadia'

The evening will consist of a talk given by Prof Geraint John, with a Q&A to follow. There will also be time to browse around the shop afterwards.
Beginning with Ancient history, the book covers the history and development of Olympic Stadia from Athens 1896 to Tokyo 2020. The book focusses on a variety of topics from the political context to its architectural features and continues on to consider the fundamental changes brought about by the incorporation of the Paralympic Games. It ends with a look to the future.
