Writing for Wellbeing Workshop

  • Books on the Hill 1 Holywell Hill St Albans, England, AL1 1ER United Kingdom (map)

Come and join us for a nature writing workshop as we gently begin the new year. This session will focus on writing for wellbeing, as January is frequently a month when we can feel a little down after the excitement of Christmas. With the days still short and the nights still long, we might need additional motivation to get outside and enjoy the natural world around us. The days are gradually getting longer though, and there are early signs that spring is on its way – we just have to look closely to find them.

In this workshop you can expect to:

- Explore different types of nature writing celebrating a range of flora and fauna.

- Understand how nature journalling can positively impact your well-being.

- Hear examples of nature writing from a variety of authors.

- Try some creative writing exercises for yourself.

No previous writing experience is required for this informal and friendly morning. We look forward to seeing you there!
