Does your child enjoy reading? And do they enjoy talking about books? Then get ready for our Young Readers Book Club!

The Book Club will be split into two teams – one group of Fantastic Five-to-Eight year olds, and the Amazing Nine-to-Eleven year olds. Each group will read a different book on the same theme.

This month, we’re looking at … Non-Fiction!

After reading the book at home, we will all sit together in our beautiful store to talk about the book. Everybody in each group will have the opportunity to discuss the book and create their own review!

We will then ask the children to draw a picture to present their review which will be published onto our shop blog!

The King's Ship by Valerio Vidali (5-8 year olds) This is a beautifully illustrated picture book, with plenty of opportunity to learn more!

Tutankhamun's Treasure : Discovering the Secret Tomb of Egypt's Ancient King by David Long (9-11 year olds) A dyslexia-friendly publication by Barrington Stoke, all about Howard Carter's archaeological dig in the Valley of the Kings.
