Katie~ December reads round up

Below are some books that I have enjoyed reading this December~

The King and the Christmas Tree by A.N. Wilson

In 1940, the King of Norway escaped from the Nazis regime to England. In thanks, Norway gifts Britain a Christmas tree each year for Trafalgar Square. This novel highlights wartime friendships and long-lasting thanks between countries. This Novel is wonderful for families to read together as well as a gift for adults.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

This old favourite is great to read in December, with the description of snow during a never-ending winter and father Christmas himself. This novel is great for any age and shows the magic of a classic fantasy. When four children find themselves in Narnia a land controlled by the white witch, they must decide what is more important to them power or family.

Mercy by David Baldacci

The fourth book in the series centered around the female FBI agent Atlee Pine on her search to find out the details surrounding the abduction of her twin sister when she was six. The narrative comes to a shocking conclusion in this instalment as all the answers are explained and the fate of Mercy is revealed. This gripping storyline comes to an explosive end and the fate of the characters lies in the balance.
